What is blessed?

The reason for this blog post is not to antagonize, or degrade; but solely to inform and edify.

Matthew 5:9 states that “Blessed are the peacemakers for theirs is the kingdom of God.” It also states that Blessed are those who do not walk in the counsel of the Ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

There is also Deuteronomy 28 that depicts the person who listens and obeys the Lords voice- that he is blessed- mind, body, soul, spirit, financially. On the other hand there are people who listen and obey their self will, and the devil which leads them down the path to curses.

There is another scripture that states- Blessed is the man who endures temptation James 1:12-16.

There are many scriptures that denote the blessed man, and ultimately that man is heavenly minded. My summation of what blessed is, is not an exhaustive one but I can say that God has left his word which shows us how to walk in blessedness.
