Deuteronomy 32:51-52, 3rd John 2, James 1:17, Ephesians 2:18, Ephesians 5:25
Would like to start off with the words of John the Beloved, I pray you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. God wants us to prosper and have more than enough to be a blessing. My Motto is “Blessed to be a blessing to the Kingdom”. But, do I always feel blessed?
Being blessed is not always about a feeling but it is mostly a knowing; that God has bestowed upon us an unlimited reservoir filled with treasures. Jesus Christ died, rose, and now is sitting next to God the Father, and whomever have believed in the substitutionary death of Christ has access to God and receive all the good and perfect things, from above.
Some might have been in situations that caused inner doubts, as to question themselves, and ask “Is God mad at me”. The problem with that question is that God’s conviction does not linger and cause condemnation but His conviction always lifts His children up. Condemnation leads to death, but conviction leads to life. God the Father always speaks and confirms through His word, never a feeling.
Yes; some might bear witness to the word in different ways but it does not always mean that it is from God, some just need to take a holy ghost venting break. There are several things that people do which is a personal witness to Gods word: 1. Dance 2. Raise ones hand 3. Shout 4. Run 5. Cry. This is an comprehensive list not an exhaustive list of how one bears witness, to Gods word.
In order to get through some storms of life and attain the greater, one has to conquer the now. Have to admit, conquering the now is not easy. The statistics of drug, alcohol abuse is at an all time high, this because anxiety, depression is running rampant in our land.
Before the greater, there is always a fight to conquer; fight in the mind, fight in out physical, a fight to hold on to the word that is already in us. That is why the scripture says to hold on to the little scripture you have received, until you get the more.
What happens before the greater? huge warfare! Not so much spiritual, even though everything is spiritual but learning how to see the promised land over the horizon. Moses died before entering the land of milk and honey; one cannot allow anything to become more of a god that God himself. Furthermore, if one is married and in ministry you are not married to the ministry but to your spouse.
There are several ways to get burned out: 1. putting to much faith in people 2. making a god of ones ministry 3. taking everything to heart. This is an comprehensive list, not an exhaustive list, there are plenty more ways to keep oneself from successfully experiencing the greater.
In any event greater is coming to the believer, so I implore you to receive it without condemnation. Remember conviction draws us to God the Father through Christ, and condemnation will take us away. What happens before the greater? Plenty!
Blessings,
