Use what God gave you…

Mathew 25:15-30

Many say what does God require from me, what is the will of God for my life… we see in this passage that Jesus is telling a parable as he always does, and he is speaking about the Kingdom of God. He begins at verse 15 by saying traveling to the kingdom is like going to a far country, and he says as you’re traveling I’m going to give you talents so that you can be occupied while on the journey. God has giving each Christian who is part of his plan of salvation a gift to edify somebody else in the kingdom. The smartest thing we can do in Gods Kingdom is use what we have; I know of a brother in Christ a minister of the gospel, and he has a blanket ministry; by the way he talks about that ministry you would think that he has a worldwide preaching ministry, but he simply passes out blankets to the homeless. The nature of mankind is to compete and try to be what we’re not, but that’s a dangerous thing to do in the kingdom. Furthermore, what I notice is that many people forget to do the first works feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the person in prison, these are the things that Yeshua(Jesus) really sees, and actually he says that if you do these things you are doing it to me. So, the heart of God is for us to be faithful over the few things that God gives us, because when we get to heaven we can hear WELL DONE! Blessings.

In Christ, Pastor Vondell
