The children of Israel as an example

1st Cor 10:6-11

Have you ever felt as though you are going in circles? Have you ever observed somebody who was going in circles? The reason why the question was posed is that Christ gives rest! Many things that we’re going through that we blame on God is mostly us. The children of Israel had it made; they were delivered out of Egyptian slavery, they had good leadership..etc, but they still displeased God, Why? They didn’t rest. If you read 1st Cor 10:6-11, you’ll see that they were caught up in “lusting after evil things”: Fornication, Idolatry, and they also did a no-no, they tempted Christ(verse 9). We may not be akin to the children of Israel, but this book was written to us(Gentiles). So, now if you’re born again and have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you our command is to walk in the light as he”Jesus” is in the light. Blessings, and may you walk in peace this holiday season.
