That settles it…

James 4:4 1st John 2:15-17

Have you ever heard someone make the statement “That’s it that settles it”, I have. James in Chapter 4 of the Bible in which we preach was warning the people of God about being worldly, and he even went on to say that anybody who lives in a Worldly selfish state was an”Enemy of God”, if you don’t believe me read it yourself. Many a times we hear people like Yashua(Jesus), james or paul using some strong language and we just discount it as they being just bible personalities, but these Elders, Prophets, and God’s Son himself was warning us against potential dangers that lurk in intentional disregard for truth. That’s why I’m a firm beliver of getting truth daily and coming together with the saints 2,3,4 times a week to fellowship and to dig into the Word Of God. Why, because you can never get enough word, and to be totally truthful when the devil comes in his many forms which can be an angel of light he’s not coming for the earthly you, but he’s coming for anything that stands for purity, or holiness; that’s why it’s so easy to sin because it dosen’t take any effort it’s something that say’s I don’t care “I will exalt myself over the most high”, sounds familiar? So, looking at passages like James 4 and 1st John 2 we see that worldliness stinks in the nostrils of God no matter what bible version you use, and like myself who saw firsthand what loving the world does for you I have to say that settles it For me, for God I live for God I die I’ll let nothing seperate me from the Love of God!
