Seeking and asking for things of the kingdom…

1st Chronicles 1, Matthew 6:33

Solomon was said to be the wisest king or person that ever lived, And he was the Son of the mighty warrior and king David. Solomon learned from the many mistakes, as well as the successes of his dad David which caused him to seek God for Kingdom things. When God appeared to Solomon and asked him what he could do for him, Solomon immediately asked him for WISDOM. Wisdom in Christ is the most important thing that we can glean from a servant of God or the Word of God, because it helps us as it helped Solomon to avoid the pitfalls of those who went before him or things that could possibly be a pitfall for us in the future… Yes, Solomon got involved with foreign women and lost the kingdom, but he was able to help those who would come after him. Jesus taught us to seek first the kingdom of God, and ALL of it’s righteousness which is purely, power and wisdom to live in these bodies! Wisdom guards us from pride and it’s destructive poison that creeps up on us and tries to get us to walk in the flesh. The wisdom I’m talking about is the word of God, which is tried and true. The bible says that heaven and earth shall pass away but the word will stand forever. Wisdom!

In Christ, Pastor Vondell
