Romans 8:5-9, 12-17 1st Cor 3:1-3,16,18 John 8:31 1st John 4:4
When we hear the word “heir” we usually think about money or wealth, so why do so many of us not live up to the level of the privilaged life God has for us? Maybe because we don’t know how to, or what we’ve been giving, as a free gift. First of all the scripture says that noone can come to Jesus unless the Father draws him, so we can’t save ourselves. But, I have good news anyone that will accept the spirit of the ages call to repentance and believing on Jesus you will be saved; which is a lifestyle that is lived out day by day. The problem is most have not heard the gospel in it’s purest form, and believed in man made doctrines. The bible calls us “heirs” which means that we have been included in a will, the will of God to be exact. After regeneration being made new by the spirit we have been put into a new family, We are privilaged to be partakers of the divine nature. When you are born of the “Spirit you are no longer of this world, but in it. So, you don’t set your mind on things of the flesh, but things of the spirit. The Apostle Paul said it right when he said I beat my body into subjection, meaning what was in him wasn’t anything to be trusted, which could make him fall. In his flesh that is… Christ Jesus said the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. So, we have to do something about this flesh. Why is it that people who have addictions don’t use the tools that God gave them? For instance I hard a wise preacher say one time that someone came up to him and said “what do I do I have a lust problem” he said that’s what your wife is for. Lord help us not to complicate things. So, to some it up we have been giving a new nature and he is the greater one who lives in us who helps us combat the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, and he is called the Spirit of God. Many if not all people in the body of Christ are waiting for God to do something special for them and we are told to keep asking God for things that we want, but it’s not until we see everything from an eternal perspective that we will begin to walk in the abundance, because we are no longer slaves but free. We’re privilaged. If you need to be born again(Made new) Confess and believe that Jesus died and rose from the grave. Romans 10:9,10.
