“My Shepherd”

Psalm 23

When you think of Jesus Christ, what or who do you envision? Is he a thin Man with a beard about 30-40 yrs. of age, is he a baby in a manger in Bethlehem, is he floating on a cloud with cupid… you get my drift… Jesus was born as a normal baby, he did grow to be 30+, died and rose from the grave; yes he is in heaven, but not with cupid on the clouds but, with the Father -(God Eternal Immortal;) interceding for us. So, when you think of Jesus what do you envision, do you believe(act out) on what you read about Him? While the battle is not ours, but the lords, it means a lot who we want to win the war for us. While it’s easier said than done to trust God when we’re so engrossed with the issues and pains of life, he has a proven track record throughout the ages of being with his people in times of trouble. So delivering us from all sorts of calamities is a light thing for Jesus. As sheep we’re so naïve and scary, and so prone to wonder away from God, but with God, he gently corrects us and puts us back into our wealthy places. God also promised to provide, he said to seek first his kingdom and to put on all of his righteousness, then all the desires of our hearts will be added to us. So, if Jesus is our shepherd we need only trust in his delivering power; being that he created us, and defeated our enemy and all.
