My God is Loving and Benevolent.

Acts 10:38

I have to confess that, God can be a bit scary if you don’t know him personally. But, when I read his testimonies and study his people(Saints) thoroughly I realize that God is just a GOOD God! The bible says that Jesus of Nazareth went about doing good healing people, casting out Demons, and so forth and so on and nothing in this passage Acts 10:38 gives me an indication that he is a God that wants to see us sick or broke, or simply walking in FEAR. Yes, we need a healthy fear of God such as to reverence him but we need not be in bondage to feeling condemned or afraid that God won’t be there where we need Him. Actually, there is a verse in Romans, Romans 8:15 specifically that says that we’ve been given a spirit of Adoption and we need not fear, so we were once like orphans who needed a family and God picked us up as a caring parent would. So, once you know that you’re loved you act like you’re loved and display the characteristics of the one you’re loved by making you the expressed image of that person… That’s what God did by sending us His Son whom he loved before the foundation of the World, who died for us so that we may experience Gods love. His name is Jesus! God is GOOD!
