Knowing the will of God

The Bible states “I fed you with milk, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Even now you are still not ready 1st Corinthians 3:2.”

Many people who claim the name of Christ, are well intentioned people but they have not the will to continue on in Christ. It is not enough to say we are Christians, listen to sermons, or even do shallow things for God. We need the will of God.

Coming up in the church, I did not realize that God wanted to use me; even though my pastor would tell us to reach out.. after listening to one of his tapes years ago- he specifically told me to invite people to church. I wanted the big leagues in the church, not knowing that God uses us where we’re at. To be honest, as a pastor today I do more witnessing in my own home than I do over the pulpit or on one of my live videos.

The will of God is not difficult, it is not always convenient but not difficult. Some people(specifically pastors) have committed suicide, and have contracted all types of bacterial infections because they have tried to over step the will of God for their lives.

Just because someone does something well, it does not mean that everybody has the same type of function in the will of God for the earth. Knowing the will of God has been the most important thing that has happened to me, because it has affected every aspect of my life- my career- my marriage- my family- my ministry and my finances.

Knowing the will of God is not important, it is of the utmost importance, so do not take it lightly. Seek God: keep seeking, keep asking, keep knocking, you will find the will of God. If you have not been regenerated by the holy spirit(born again), accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior.
