In this World…

John 16:33, Mathew 10:34-39.

Many people would have you to think that once you get saved, baptized, and join a local church all opposition or work is over. I don’t mean “work” in the sense of having to work for your salvation, because remember you got saved; But we have to work on nurturing a fruitful relationship with God and others… When I first became a disciple of Christ I thought “go to church 3 or 4 times a week ,later for everybody else!” but, Jesus said we have to go out amongst sinners and preach the gospel, make disciples, teaching them to observe all things Jesus has commanded Mathew 28:19. Sounds easy right? That’s where the opposition or work comes into play. When you have hardened sinners, or unrepentant people who don’t want to hear the gospel in it’s pure undilluted form, you have those who come against for righteousness sake. Sometimes it comes in the form of friends, sometimes it comes in the form of family, sometimes it comes as an obvious enemy, but believe it will come. So believe me next time you want to do something for God and it seems to be hard know that heaven understands and it backs you, but in this world…
