Don’t expect…

Malachi 3:9-10

Tithing was one of the primary ways that the temple priorities were met; back in the levitical priesthood days. Tithing goes all the way back to Abraham and melchezidek, and if you were to spiritualize the Tree in the center of the garden “God said you can eat of every tree, but this one”; which was said to make up the ten percent. I marvel at people who want all the blessings, and who want to carry the name of Jesus Christ, but don’t want to give to his church. Jesus taught tithing, along with love, and taking care of our families. But some have created a new gospel… These people want the best spouses, they want the most joy, they want to retire rich, they want to be sickness free, they want happy prosperous children- and blessed spouses for their children, but they want to rob God! Usually people who don’t tithe, don’t go to church faithfully, and usually people who don’t tithe don’t open their bibles, because they’re convicted that it will step on their toes even the more. I remember my pastor at that time preached a sermon, which he made an emphasis on tithing, and he said that the curse that will come on “those who don’t tithe even Benny Hinn couldn’t pray it off!” So, Don’t expect to be above if you’re living beneath.
