Borderline mockery can be funny, but serious.

I recall some years back watching a news broadcast, and there was a man portraying a shepherd or an Old Testament saint.. What I gathered though from the show was he was committing borderline mockery. He tried to live a certain amount of days keeping every law of the Old Testament. This man was out of his mind if he thought that he could keep over 600 commandments, without missing the mark, somewhere. Oh and by the way, by the time he finished he realized that it couldn’t be done; that’s why we need a savior-Jesus Christ, to Atone for our sins. Furthermore, when Christ sends the Spirit of God, he helps us in our weakness, so even though we can’t perfectly keep every law, we can still crucify this flesh of ours, and it’s lusts Galatians 5:24. One last point: the Ten Commandments are still for today, because Jesus said that the Commandments are all summed up in LOVE Galatians 5:14, Matthew 22:37-40. So don’t try to mock God trying to look like a saint, Be one! Borderline mockery can be funny, but serious.
In Christ,
